Arjun Bio :

 

ARJUN is a London-based singer, songwriter and producer of Sri Lankan origin. Although influenced by big US producers such as the Neptunes and Ryan Leslie, Arjun's sound is carved out of UK urban culture: a new-age blend of smooth R&B, Funky House and Garage, all with an Asian twist.

 

His soothing vocals sit alongside instrumentals ranging from organic, guitar-based compositions to ethno-infused, electronic beats.

 

His tracks have been played on radio stations such as BBC 1xtra, BBC Asian Network, BBC West Midlands and DesiHits, while his song 'Tere Bina' (featuring Kee) was voted one of the top 5 love songs on Club Asia. He was also voted one of Eastern Eye's Top 10 Unsigned Acts of 2008.

 

n his short career, Arjun has already supported US superstars such as Jagged Edge and Blackstreet. He has performed at some of London's top clubs, including Sound, the Sports Cafe and Club 20, as well as industry hotspots such as Tiffinbites and Piya Piya.

 

He has also played at numerous festivals, melas, balls and university events around the UK, often alongside beatboxer and production partner, Nayaab. Between them the two play guitar, piano, bass, drums and flute, on top of singing and beatboxing. They are also winners of the Cambridge Urban Talent Show, hosted by Richard Blackwood and run by DJ Kayper.

 

Having studied music production at Point Blank Music College, Arjun has written and produced tracks for all kinds of artists, ranging from Grime MC's to Hindi singers to Rock bands. He is currently in the studio working on his own album, which has a planned released date of Summer 2010.

Fresh Sound, Hot Looks and a Voice To Match!!! Brass Tax (Universal Music) Kee is a new and exciting singer-songwriter from the UK. She is ready to take the UK by storm with a new twist in her music.

 

She has been influenced by some of the biggest vocalists, such as: Asha Bhosle, Lata Mangeshkar, Mariah Carey, Beyonce and Atif Aslam.

 

Her diverse taste in music is what has drawn Kee to the pop-rock genres of music, which is what you can expect from Kee's DEBUT album.

 

 

Kee and Arjun's song 'Tere Bina' reached Club Asias top 5 love songs and also received airplay on various major Asian radio stations and the remix received over 7000 downloads.

 

Kee has also featured on AG Dolla's track 'Tu Hai Mera Raja' as well as Charles Boscos new track 'Ja Re Ja'. Kee has performed at some of the most prestigious venues across the UK, and also at some of the biggest melas - Manchester Mega Mela, East London and Bristol Mela.
